Abstract

Chemical investigation of the dichloromethane extracts of Durio zibethinus Murr. fruit afforded monogalactosyl diacylglycerols (1), triacylglycerols (2), and a mixture of 2 and fatty acid methyl esters (3) from the pulp; 2, a mixture of β-sitosterol (4) and stigmasterol (5), a mixture of phytyl fatty acid esters (6) and β-sitosteryl fatty acid esters (7), and monoacylglycerols (8) from the exocarp; 2, a mixture of 4 and 5, and β-sitosteryl-3β-glucopyranoside-6'-O-fatty acid esters (9) from the seeds and carpel. The structures of 1-9 were identified by comparison of their NMR data with literature data. © 2016, International Journal of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemical Research. All right reserved.
