This study presents a novel approach to network infrastructure, implementing a cost-effective software-defined network (SDN) using Raspberry Pi, alongside a real-time monitoring web app, a network security system, and a honeypot server. Results demonstrate successful implementation of a fully functional network and SDN framework, promising cost-effective deployment and enhanced security management. While achieving objectives, future research could explore multiple network implementations within the SDN framework and enhance user-friendliness and system stability. High user satisfaction using Lickert scale is reflected in survey results, with functionality, reliability, usability, and support rated at 4.5 out of 5, indicating effectiveness and dependability. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
