Abstract

This study is conducted to determine the coefficient of static and kinetic friction. The average angle of inclination measured for the coefficient of static friction is used as the angle of inclination of the plane when measuring the acceleration of the cardboard on wood as a variable in determining the coefficient of kinetic friction. Importantly, it verifies that the coefficient of static friction is greater than the coefficient of kinetic friction by utilizing the Phyphox application. © 2023 IOP Publishing Ltd.
